My biggest passion is aviation. I have logged over 32 hours of flight time in a Diamond Star D40 in Utah and additional time in both a De Havilland Beaver and De Havilland Otter for water landings in Alaska this summer. I plan to continue to build my knowledge and experience as a student pilot with pre-flight engine failure tests and on-point 33- and 45-degree turns.

I am proud to say I've landed or performed touch-and-go at five airports in Utah and Alaska (and counting). Although I am still a few years away from testing for my private pilot license (FAA requirement is 16 years old), I am working through the FAA study guide and test myself on principles of physics that are applicable to flying.

I have flown a T6 in Northern Virginia, which is a WWII training aircraft.

I have traveled to San Francisco to attend Fleet Week and have been at Hill Air Force Base in Utah for the "Warriors Over the Wasatch" show in June where I had the opportunity to meet pilots and tour various aircraft. I am an avid reader of aviation and geopolitical history and can likely name any ground or air weaponry in past or present theatres (axis and allied forces). Flying has taught me discipline, focus, and confidence in high-responsibility situations.
